About the Event
This course offers hands-on training for basic knowledge necessary to safely operate, load, and unload a semi-automatic pistol. The Don Firearms offers this course within 5 hours in the classroom to provide sufficient opportunity to achieve the mindset and skills necessary for success with firearm safety. This course meets the requirement for a Massachusetts License To Carry (LTC). Students will obtain both a Massachusetts safety certificate along with a NRA certificate upon completion. This course does NOT require shooting, but if you would like to add shooting simply let us know at the end of class. We will shoot various .22lr and a 9mm with emphasis on firearm safety and shooting fundamentals. Please bring snacks and a lunch to the course. We will have short breaks throughout the course.
